Contessa Diamone

Name: Contessa Diamone Name Pronunciation: [Kon-TESS-uh DIE-uh-moe-knee] Middle Name: Noelle [NO- L] Magic Affiliation: Sanguinati Education: Sanguinati grade school Address: Grossatete Sanatorium, Severance, Hoopenfangia.
Until her parents had her locked up, Contessa formerly lived in her family’s estate at 148+ Pluvia on the corner of Sesepha Street, in Mystic City, Severance, Hoopenfangia.
Date & Place of Birth: 12/25/1999. Mystic Infirmary, Mystic City, Severance, Hoopenfangia. Contessa is nearly 11 years old and in the Sanatorium when Book One, Curse of the McRavens, begins. Height/Weight/Physical Description: Average height and slightly chunky. She has knee-length hair of light ash brown, wide-spaced eyes, and a pouty face. Citizenship/Ethnic Origin: Severance Hoopenfangia / Caucasian / Sanguinati / French ancestry. Parents' Names & Occupations:Father: Sessions Diamone. He oversees the Ritual Implements Inventory Department for the theurgy. Mother: Hilda Diamone. She (along with her husband) oversees the Ritual Implements Inventory Department for the theurgy. Hilda and Sessions Diamone had their 10-year-old daughter Contessa Diamone committed to Grossatete Sanatorium because she wants to be a Nizzertit. Contessa Quotes: “They, like, claim the vespercestors put me in the Sanatorium because I have some birth defect that makes me a danger to my brother and sister. They also claim I have, like, behavior issues — that I’m troubled, stubborn, and superstitious.” “I want to cut my hair, like, above my shoulders, like some of the Nizzertit girls do, but my parents won’t let me. I’m not a morning person; it takes me half the day to function at full capacity.”
Other Family Members:
  • Sister: Twila Diamone.
  • Brother: Marston Diamone.
  • Grandfather: Periander Diamone. (1889 - 1976)
  • Grandmother: Isadora Dandiprat.
  • Great-grandfather: Cleobulus Diamone. (Died 1910)
  • Great-grandmother: Alky Soyala Diamone.

Social Class: The Diamones are struggling to maintain an upper-class presence among the Sanguinati. Contessa, however, is not concerned with that in the least.
Magic Specialties: None. She wants to be a Nizzertit, though she rides an ogre and uses a wand to play Spurgmulin.
Community Status: Her friends at the Sanatorium like her, but they didn’t care as much for her before her parents and siblings shunned her. Political Beliefs/Affiliations: Progressive Sanguinati at the least; but Contessa wants to be a Nizzertit, not so much that she despises magic, she just feels she relates more to Nizzertits. Outside of her position in Spurgmulin at the Sanatorium, she tries to do everything manually — reads Nizzertit books, magazines, etc.
Voice: Contradicting. Says ‘like’ every sentence or more.
