Sponsored events and interactive fun roll out the welcome mat for families and engage even the youngest readers in the festival’s Kids Corner. There, the focus on books and authors ignites the imagination and sets the stage for a lifelong love of books. It was near 100 degrees at the MS Book Festival at the State Capitol, but it was the largest turnout ever. Milan nearly sold out of paperbacks and was on the WLBT News at 6! Thanks to all the fantastic authors and booklovers who attended.
